LONGTABLE menu boards, harvest-table series
===========================================

The three screens of every daypart as one Illustrator file, nine artboards,
with live text and vector artwork. Nothing is flattened: every line is still
type and every shape is still a shape.

WHAT IS IN THIS FOLDER

Links/ The photographs the Illustrator file links to. Keep this folder beside
        the .ai file.

SETTING IT UP

1. Install the two fonts in fonts/ first, by double clicking each one.
Illustrator will ask for them otherwise.
2. Open the .ai file in Illustrator. Each artboard is one screen, named for
   its daypart and panel.
3. Keep the Links folder beside the .ai file. The photographs are linked from
it, which keeps the file small. To use your own, replace a picture in Links
with one of the same name, or relink it in Illustrator.
4. On first open Illustrator may say briefly that some linked objects were
updated. That is it finding the photographs in the Links folder, nothing is
wrong, and it stops once you save the file.
5. Edit the type with the type tool, then export the artboards as images and
   play those on your screens.
6. The two fonts in fonts/ are Google's free Noto Serif and Noto Sans, under
the SIL Open Font License, so skip the first step if you already have them.
