સિંક માટે ઑપ્ટિમાઇઝ

FloSync તમારી સ્ક્રીનને આપોઆપ સિંક કરતું રહે એ રીતે ડિઝાઇન કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. મોટા ભાગના સેટઅપ માટે, તે સીધા જ ઉત્તમ રીતે કામ કરે છે. પરંતુ જો તમે video wall બનાવી રહ્યા હો, પ્રોફેશનલ ઇન્સ્ટૉલેશન ચલાવી રહ્યા હો, અથવા ફક્ત શ્રેષ્ઠ સિંક ઇચ્છતા હો, તો નેટવર્ક, હાર્ડવેર, વીડિઓ ફાઇલ, અને સિસ્ટમ સેટિંગ્સ અંગેના તમારા દરેક નિર્ણય ભળીને ફેર પાડે છે.

નેટવર્ક ગોઠવણ

તમારું નેટવર્ક પાયો છે. FloSync computers UDP પ્રોટોકૉલ દ્વારા local network પર communicate કરે છે, અને connection ની ગુણવત્તા સીધી સિંક stability ને અસર કરે છે.

Wired vs. WiFi

Video walls અને sync-critical installs માટે wired Ethernet ભારપૂર્વક ભલામણ છે. WiFi એ variability ઉત્પન્ન કરી શકે જે control કરવી કઠિન હોય છે.

Distributed setups માટે — જેમ કે retail store ભરની individual TVs પર એ જ promotional video — WiFi ઉત્તમ કામ કરે છે. Screens side by side ન હોય ત્યારે, નાના timing differences viewers ને દેખાતા નથી, અને FloSync બધું પૂરતું close રાખે છે. WiFi ઇન્સ્ટૉલેશન સહેલી બનાવે, તો ઉપયોગ કરો.

સીધું-સાદું રાખો

Computers વચ્ચે network hops જેટલા ઓછા, એટલું સારું:

  • શ્રેષ્ઠ: બધા FloSync computers એ જ network switch માં plugged
  • સારું: Same subnet, એક-બે switches મારફત connected
  • ટાળો: Routers, VLANs, અથવા subnets ઓળંગતા connections

Basic unmanaged gigabit switch જ પૂરતો છે. Fancy managed switches પણ ઠીક — ફક્ત port 9201 પર UDP traffic filter અથવા throttle ન થાય તે ખાતરી કરો.

ડેડિકેટેડ નેટવર્ક (વૈકલ્પિક, પણ આદર્શ)

સૌથી demanding installations માટે, FloSync માટે dedicated network વિચારો:

  • ફક્ત FloSync computers connected હોય એ અલગ switch ઉપયોગ કરો
  • Bandwidth માટે competitive traffic ન રહે
  • બીજા devices ના network congestion નો ખતરો જ ન રહે
  • Internet access જોઈએ, તો દરેક computer second network connection પણ ધરાવી શકે

મોટા ભાગના setups માટે આ જરૂરી નથી, પરંતુ network variability સંપૂર્ણ દૂર થઈ જાય છે.

Firewall અને Port જરૂરિયાતો

FloSync sync communication માટે UDP port 9201 ઉપયોગ કરે છે. ખાતરી કરો:

  • બધા computers ના firewall FloSync (અથવા UDP port 9201) ની મંજૂરી આપે
  • Network-level firewalls અથવા filters machines વચ્ચે UDP block ન કરે
  • Corporate network પર હો, તો IT team ને local subnet પર UDP 9201 allow કરવા કહો

Encoding સિંક માટે શા માટે મહત્ત્વ ધરાવે

FloSync playback દરમ્યાન computers ને automatically aligned રાખે છે. Sync-friendly video formats આ process ને smoother અને વધુ consistent બનાવે છે.

Cameras, editors, અને web ના standard delivery formats file size માટે ઉત્તમ છે. Sync-critical installations માટે, dedicated production formats ઘણીવાર machines across વધુ consistent રહે છે.

Looping Mode

Standard Looping

Standard mode માં, video player file end reach ત્યારે file reload કરે છે. Loop point ત્યારે brief transition gap આવે. એ transition દરમ્યાન, computers ક્ષણભર sync ગુમાવી શકે, અને FloSync correct કરે.

Long session દરમ્યાન, આ corrections ભેગી થતી રહે છે. System sync માં રહે છે, પરંતુ વધારે કામ કરવું પડે છે.

Hardware અને GPU

Computers વચ્ચે Similar Hardware ઉપયોગ કરો

GPU અને Video Decoding

Modern GPUs video decoding hardware-accelerated ચલાવે છે — software decoding કરતાં ઝડપી અને વધુ consistent. FloSync ઉપલબ્ધ hardware-accelerated decoding આપોઆપ ઉપયોગ કરે છે.

શ્રેષ્ઠ પરિણામ માટે:

  • 4K content માટે dedicated GPU ઉપયોગ કરો (integrated graphics નહીં)
  • GPU drivers up to date રાખો
  • FloSync ની સાથે GPU-intensive applications ચલાવવાનું ટાળો
  • Computer ઉપર multiple screens હોય, તો GPU total pixel output support કરે, તે ખાતરી કરો

Storage Speed

ProRes અને DNxHR જેવા high-bitrate formats ને fast storage જોઈ:

  • SSD (internal or USB 3.0+): બધા formats માટે ભલામણ
  • NVMe SSD: 4K ProRes/DNxHR માટે ideal
  • USB 2.0 or spinning hard drives: High-bitrate content keep up ન કરી શકે

System Configuration

Sleep અને Power Saving Disable કરો

Computer sleep અથવા performance throttle sync break કરે છે.

Windows:

  • Settings > System > Power > High Performance અથવા Best Performance set કરો
  • Power settings માં screen timeout અને sleep disable કરો
  • USB selective suspend disable કરો (display adapter issues ઉત્પન્ન કરી શકે)

macOS:

  • System Settings > Displays > Advanced > Prevent automatic sleeping enable કરો
  • System Settings > Lock Screen > screen saver અને display sleep Never (અથવા ખૂબ long interval) set કરો
  • Kiosk setups માટે Terminal માં caffeinate ઉપયોગ consider કરો

Automatic Updates Disable કરો

Installation ને unexpected restart ખૂબ ઝડપથી ખોરવી નાખે.

Windows:

  • Event અથવા installation period દરમ્યાન Windows Update pause કરો
  • Possible automatic driver updates disable કરો
  • Operating window cover કરે, એ active hours set કરો

macOS:

  • System Settings > General > Software Update > installation દરમ્યાન automatic updates disable કરો

Unnecessary Applications બંધ કરો

CPU, GPU, અને memory માટે compete કરતી દરેક application video playback resources ઉઠાવી લે છે:

  • Web browsers, email clients, અને chat applications બંધ કરો

  • Windows ઉપર, possible background services minimize કરો

Screen Saver અને Lock Screen

Playback દરમ્યાન computer lock ન થાય અથવા screen saver activate ન થાય, તેની ખાતરી કરો:

  • Sleep પછી lock screen / password requirement disable કરો

Regular Restarts Schedule કરો (Long-Running Installations)

Installation unattended days or weeks ચાલે, ત્યારે daily restart schedule — ઉદા. 2:00 AM અથવા venue બંધ હોય ત્યારે — દરેક computer ઉપર consider કરો.
